Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, Auckland, is seeking a capable HMC Engineer to join the Digital Operations team. You will deploy, configure, and maintain critical services, ensuring availability, stability, security, and compliance with technical standards.

You will work hands-on with senior engineers, project teams, vendors, and a wide range of clinical and operational stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital services that support equitable health outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining digital or IT services.
• 5 years of experience providing day-to-day technical support for end-users and/or IT systems.
• 1-3 years experience deploying and configuring complex IT solutions, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and managing incidents.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• On-call participation and occasional work outside standard hours to support system maintenance, incidents or project work.
• Postgraduate certificate in relevant fields required.
• ITIL certifications desired.
