A growing equipment rental company in Tauranga is seeking a Hire Fleet Manager to oversee their rental cabin fleet. This role combines management responsibilities with hands-on operational tasks, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to tow trailers. The ideal candidate will lead by example and drive continual improvement within a supportive team environment.

Our client is looking for a motivated, practical, and systems‑savvy Hire Fleet Manager to take ownership of their growing rental cabin fleet. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll combine operational management with time out on the road, ensuring cabins are delivered safely and efficiently while keeping the fleet running smoothly.
As the Hire Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of the hire cabin fleet—including planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, and customer service. You’ll ensure cabins are delivered, installed, and collected on time and to a high standard.
A key part of the role includes up to two days per week delivering small cabins using a trailer and ute, so confidence with towing and safe driving is essential.
