Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Dunedin is seeking a Truck Driver/Pilot (Heavy Haulage) to operate heavy transporters, load and unload machinery, and deliver equipment safely across Otago, Southland and beyond. You will follow job briefs, complete vehicle checks, maintain logbooks, and stay safety-focused.

A current Class 5 licence with W, T, R and F endorsements and a Class 2 Pilot qualification are essential, with at least five years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Class 5 driver licence with W, T, R and F endorsements.
• Certified Class 2 Pilot qualification.
• At least 5 years of practical heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Strong safety focus and willingness to travel and stay away overnight.

Responsibilities

• Transport light to heavy construction, quarrying and forestry equipment safely across Otago and beyond.
• Load, cart and deliver machinery in quarry, forestry and active construction environments.
• Follow job briefs, run sheets and site instructions to complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain logbooks and keep your truck tidy and roadworthy.
• Build relationships with dispatchers and site crews; assist with yard duties when needed.
