Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles.
• Strong level of written and spoken English.
• Ability to detect and diagnose faults.

Responsibilities

• Perform COF inspections and day-to-day maintenance.
• Work on various heavy vehicle brands like Volvo and MAN.
• Ensure adherence to Waka Kotahi regulations.

Skills

NZQA L4 Heavy Automotive Qualification/ equivalent automotive workshop experience

Current New Zealand Drivers’ License Class 1 (ideally up to C4)

Reliable

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Swanson crew on a permanent basis! Working on a variety of heavy vehicle brands including Volvo, MAN, Scania, BCI and Mitsubishi. This role is a variety of proactive and active maintenance. Involving COF inspections and day-to-day maintenance and repairs on both diesel and petrol motors. As well as other fleet vehicles as appropriate.
