Job summary

Terra Cat in Canterbury is hiring a skilled Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment at customer sites across the region. You’ll work with a supportive team and use dealership systems to uphold Terra Cat’s high service standards.

NZ-recognised Heavy Diesel qualification or equivalent, strong diagnostic ability, and a proactive, safety‑focused attitude are essential. Relocation to Christchurch can be supported, with a field service vehicle, tools and company

• NZ-recognised Heavy Diesel qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Field service experience, preferred
• Commitment to safe work practices
• A motivated, proactive and self managing approach to work

Responsibilities

• Working across the Canterbury region, you’ll diagnose, repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment at customer sites, delivering the high standards Terra Cat is known for.
• You’ll be backed by experienced leaders, strong dealership systems and a team that understands what good field service looks like.
