The position involves travel within Bay of Plenty, delivering person-centred, culturally responsive services to adults with hearing loss.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with people from all walks of life.
• Curious, empathetic, and able to ask thoughtful, open-ended questions.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and database systems.
• A full New Zealand driver licence.
• Cultural awareness and respect for Te Ao Māori and Pasifika cultures.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with hearing loss through assessments, information sharing, and practical rehabilitation strategies.
• Delivering culturally responsive services tailored to diverse needs.
• Promoting hearing wellbeing in the community via outreach and education.
• Building relationships with health and social service providers.
• Maintaining clear and accurate client records and notes.
