Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Contracts Administrator to manage contractor and locum agreements across Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti. You will coordinate with recruitment agencies and internal teams to secure six-month or longer locum support, maintain contract registers, and raise POs in line with procurement policies to ensure compliance and high-quality healthcare delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration, preferably in the health sector.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Knowledge of the Privacy Act and Health Information Privacy Code.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractor and locum service agreements across Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti.
• Liaise with recruitment agencies and internal departments to coordinate locum support (six months or more).
• Maintain contract registers and raise Purchase Orders per procurement policies.
• Collate documentation to ensure compliance with financial and contractual requirements.
• Work with service managers and service administrators to support healthcare delivery.
