We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and highly organised Health & Safety Administrator to join our plant based in Invercargill. We are looking for a person with a genuine and committed approach towards Health and safety with a half-glass full attitude. This role will also be responsible for assisting the compliance manager when needed and maintaining the compliance records when needed.
You will need to have strong interpersonal skills, with the added ability to communicate effectively to build quality relationships towards a progressive and positive work culture.
Reporting to the Health & Safety Officer and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Formal qualifications in Health and Safety would be advantageous, however experience in a Health & Safety environment performing functions such as injury management, incident investigation, and risk assessment processes will be considered with the desire to study towards a H&S related qualification.
Previous experience in development, writing and reviewing of Safe Operating Procedures would be highly advantageous.
This role requires medium/advanced operating knowledge of Microsoft Suites: Word and Excel.
