Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking an experienced Manager - Analytics to lead the development and maturity of our enterprise analytics capability. This leadership role drives BI, advanced analytics, data science, and data modelling services across the organisation.

You’ll lead a team focused on scalable, reusable data products while championing innovation and the adoption of modern analytics and AI capabilities to influence enterprise-wide decision-making and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or related disciplines.
• Strong expertise in data modelling, semantic layer design, data visualisation, and BI platforms.
• Proven leadership experience managing analytics, business intelligence, insights, or data product teams and developing high-performing talent.
• Strong technical leadership across business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data science practices.
• A strong understanding of the relationship between Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data Governance, ensuring data products are trusted, secure, and fit for purpose.
