Job summary

Summerset in Milldale is seeking a dedicated Head Gardener to lead our village team and bring life and colour to outdoor spaces. You'll report to the Property Manager and work alongside our Gardener to maintain and enhance gardens, lawns, courtyards and landscapes.

This hands-on role requires strong organisational skills, good physical fitness and a warm, respectful approach to residents and staff. You will supervise staff and contractors, manage scheduling, records of resident garden

Qualifications

• Experience in gardening or landscaping.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Familiarity with garden maintenance standards and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality gardens, lawns, courtyards and landscapes.
• Lead and supervise garden staff and contractors; delegate tasks and mentor team.
• Manage scheduling, budgeting and record-keeping for garden work and resident entitlements.
• Collaborate with Property and Village Managers on planning and budgets.
