Palmerston North Hospital, part of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Haematology team within the Regional Cancer Treatment Service. This permanent full-time role (0.4 FTE) offers exposure to chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions and a compassionate multidisciplinary team.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care across the cancer continuum, participate in quality improvement, and access postgraduate education opportunities within a supportive learning

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NZNC) and an Annual Practising Certificate.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to culturally safe, equitable care for Māori.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the continuum, including diagnosis, treatment, recovery and survivorship.
• Deliver specialised treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy and transfusions.
• Support bone marrow procedures and venesections with high-quality patient-centred care.
