Job summary

Rototuna Senior High School in New Zealand is seeking a qualified guidance counsellor to support senior students’ wellbeing within a restorative practices framework. You will be NZAC registered (or working towards registration) and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

You will be passionate about working with young people, able to manage a busy workload, and committed to a culturally responsive model that values every student’s background. Term 1, 2027 start.

We are looking for a qualified guidance counsellor with NZAC registration (or working towards registration) to work within our restorative practice school. Your focus will be working with senior students, supporting their growth and success within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

You will be passionate about working with young people and be able to manage your workflow to thrive in a busy school environment. You will be committed to a culturally responsive model that ensures all students feel valued, understood, and supported in a way that respects their unique cultural backgrounds.
