Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Whanganui is looking for a reliable Grocery Night Fill Assistant to support the nightfill team in preparing stock for shelves. You will break down pallet stock and organise stock by aisle, using ladders safely and working at height where required.

Shifts run Sunday to Thursday from 9:00pm to 1:00am. The role demands a positive attitude, physical fitness, and the ability to meet nightly deadlines while upholding health and safety procedures.

Grocery Night Fill Assistant

PAK’nSAVE Whanganui is looking for a reliable and hardworking Grocery Nightfill Assistant to support our Grocery Nightfill team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is physically fit, and can work efficiently during night hours.

Days & Hours of Work

Sunday to Thursday

9:00pm – 1:00am

About the Role

As a Grocery Nightfill Assistant, you will support the nightfill operation by preparing stock ready for placement on shelves. Key responsibilities include:

• Breaking down pallet stock and preparing stock for shelf filling
• Organising stock by aisle
• Using ladders safely — confidence working at height is required
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working as part of the nightfill team to meet nightly deadlines

Please note: this role does not involve filling shelves.
