Job summary

KiwiRail is offering an exciting Graduate Programme designed to develop the next generation of leaders across engineering, ICT, business and environment disciplines. The program includes a 2-year rotational structure, ongoing learning and mentoring, and opportunities to travel to different KiwiRail locations around New Zealand.

Recent graduates or those graduating before February 2027 are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates (within last 2 years) or graduating before Feb 2027.
• Diploma or Degree in one of the listed disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships.
• Curious, proactive and innovative mindset.
• NZ/Australian citizen or resident.

Responsibilities

• Complete a structured 2-year rotational programme across KiwiRail disciplines.
• Engage in ongoing learning, development and mentoring programmes.
• Travel to different KiwiRail locations around New Zealand as part of the familiarisation.
