Job summary

Christchurch Engine Centre is offering a two-year Graduate Engineer Programme in Christchurch. You will rotate through engineering teams including Digital, Process, Powerplant, Tooling, Repair Development, Industrial and Production Engineering, with mentoring and structured skill development.

Successful applicants will have a degree in engineering, a genuine interest in aviation, and strong data processing and communication skills. NZ work entitlement and January 2026 start are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical & Process or other similar)
• Genuine interest in aviation and continuous improvement
• Good data processing skills
• High level of initiative and excellent communication skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Shows flexibility and adaptability in their work
• Has strong ability and desire to learn and apply new technology
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
• Availability to commence employment in January 2026

Responsibilities

• Rotate through engineering teams, including Digital, Process, Powerplant, Tooling, Repair Development, Industrial and Production Engineering
• Progress and learning supported by experienced specialists providing training, mentoring and skill development
• Contribute to project management for technical projects such as introducing new repairs or capability and drive continuous improvement to ensure compliance and productivity
