Job summary

This position is to commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2027.

We are seeking a passionate Teacher of Geography to be part of a vibrant and dedicated Social Science Learning Area.

We invite applications for a dynamic and student-centred teacher of Geography who is passionate about delivering high quality education and nurturing a love for the application of Geographical principles in our students.

As a valued member of our dedicated Social Science Learning Area, you will contribute to an innovative and collaborative educational environment, where professional growth and development is supported by all. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in teaching Geography-based curriculum areas, preferably up to NCEA Level 3.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement (STCA). The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $66,999 to $107,886 depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. An individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment
