Job summary

North Island - Taranaki New Plymouth is seeking a registered Mental Health Clinician to join an Older Persons Mental Health team in Taranaki. You will assess, treat, and coordinate care for older adults with mental health, addiction, and cognitive health needs across community, home, and hospital settings.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a supportive team environment and opportunities to engage in culturally responsive practice, including Te Reo Māori learning and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Council of New Zealand registration and APC.
• Experience with older people or complex mental health presentations preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and care coordination abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of Māori models of health and culturally responsive practice.
• Full New Zealand driver's licence.
