Job summary

Southland Hospital in New Zealand seeks a General Medicine Registrar for a full-time, permanent position. You will work within a fully staffed General Medicine service, gaining exposure to diabetology, endocrinology, cardiology, nephrology, neurology, geriatrics and more, under supervision of experienced Consultants.

You will need registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration; EPIC credentialing is encouraged to facilitate

Qualifications

• Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration.
• EPIC credentialing may be required; start process early to enable timely registration.

Responsibilities

• Admit and manage medical inpatients within General Medicine.
• Collaborate with Consultants across subspecialties to provide broad training and patient care.
