Job summary

Green by Nature in Papamoa is seeking a hands-on Gardener for a 6-month fixed term, to maintain and enhance village spaces across our sites. You'll plant, weed, prune, and operate garden equipment, with safety and quality as top priorities.

The ideal candidate has practical gardening experience, a full driver's license, and a basic horticulture certificate; strong planning, communication, and customer-facing skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on gardening experience and horticulture knowledge.
• Ability to interpret and implement garden plans with precision.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain gardens meeting client expectations; source plants/materials and follow plans.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of designated sites within contracted works.
• Communicate regularly with Operations Manager/Team Manager and clients; report issues promptly.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and quality in all gardening activities.
