Job summary

Arvida is seeking a versatile gardener to create and maintain stunning gardens at our community in New Zealand. You will use natural techniques and provide excellent customer service to residents who are at the heart of our care approach.

The role is physically demanding and requires good fitness. We offer a competitive market rate salary, full uniform and PPE, and training with opportunities for apprenticeship through Primary ITO.

Job Description

We are looking for a versatile and motivated gardener with a desire to create and maintain the stunning gardens at our community. Your dedication to great customer service will shine through for our residents, who are at the heart of all we do. We garden using natural techniques and are looking for somebody with a true passion for gardening.

We pay market rates and provide a uniform, including quality wet weather gear, tools, and PPE. We provide training and we promote an educational path for our gardeners’ encouraging apprenticeships with Primary ITO.

This is a physically demanding job, and a high level of fitness is required.

Qualifications

Ideally, Level 3 Horticulture with a desire to continue with Level 4 although this is not essential as training will be provided for an enthusiastic applicant

• Demonstrated competence in a similar role
• Demonstrated knowledge of plants, growth patterns,

• NZ Drivers License and the ability to drive a small manual truck
