Job summary

Repco in Otago is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to deliver an outstanding in-store experience, guiding customers on automotive parts, and upselling where appropriate. The role involves till duties, stock replenishment, and maintaining showroom standards.

You will join a supportive team environment, with training provided. Lifting and moving stock is required and customer-focused service is essential to drive sales.

• Two positions available: Tuesday - Friday 8am-5:30pm & Saturday 9am-5pm (43.5 hours per week) or

• Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-5pm, Monday -Tuesday 8:30am-5pm (40.5 hours)

About the role

At Repco we want to ensure that each customer has a great experience in store and as aRetailAssistantyour key focus is to ensure this - This starts from the moment the customer walks in the door, to providing guidance around our products and ensuring they find what they need, upselling where you can and processing the sale at the till.

Duties Include

• Always have asafety focusto ensure your safety, and that of your teammates & customers

• Provide genuine service & create moments that matter with customers

• Use your strong customer service to contribute to positive sales performance

• Maintain exceptional showroom presentation & merchandising standards

• Process stock; receive, dispatch & store

• Be an enthusiastic, cooperative & collaborative Repco team member, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Note, this role will require lifting, bending & climbing.

Skills & experience

This is a very customer focusedposition,soyou'llnaturally be a people person and a passionate customer service expert, ideally withpreviousretailand/or customer service experience.Full training will be given on the products we sell, however an interest in automotive is a plus. But if customer service is your passion and where you thrive, we like that sound of that too! You must be confident working in aretail/sales environment and dealing with a variety of customers. Yourstrong communicationskills and excellent phone manner will be complimented by your team-focused and 'can do' attitude.
