Vetlink in Otago is seeking a mixed practitioner with some experience to join our supportive six-vet team. The role requires competence in both companion and production animal work, including dairy, sheep, beef, deer, and companion animals.
This is a purpose-built clinic with Best Practice Accreditation, offering a continuing education allowance and access to IDEXX, ultrasound, X-Ray, and other diagnostic services. Applicants must have a BVSc or equivalent and eligibility for registration.

All vets at this practice are required to join a mixed roster. This being the case, applicants must be competent and confident to cover the basics in both companion and production animal work.
This truly mixed role includes dairy, sheep, beef, deer, and companion animals.
This is a purpose-built, Best Practice Accredited clinic, servicing both companion and large animals.
Clinic hours:
Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday – 9 am to 12 pm
The practice employs six vets as well as a number of vet nurses and support staff.
A continuing education allowance is provided.
The clinic is well-equipped, including IDEXX, ultrasound and X-Ray with an automatic processor, aged pregnancy testing with minder mobile heifer weighing programme, healthy hoof, and a teat sealing service.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a large group of practices and exchange ideas with multiple veterinarians.
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or other relevant qualification and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner.
