Job summary

W & D Electrical Limited is seeking reliable Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technicians to join our team in New Zealand. This full-time role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week, with work between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities include installing, assembling, repairing and maintaining A/C and refrigeration systems across industrial, commercial and domestic settings, testing performance, and handling refrigerants safely.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification
• Must work safely around refrigerants and comply with environmental requirements
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning and refrigeration systems in industrial, commercial and domestic settings
• Assemble components to construct A/C and refrigeration systems
• Repair and maintain compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators and pumps
• Test systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
• Charge and recover refrigerant and work with refrigerant gases safely
