Job summary

Generate Zero is seeking an Intern to join our growing team as a Software Developer. Working alongside our dev team, you will design and build new features for the platform during a 10-week, full-time internship in Auckland, NZ.

You will contribute to experimental development of product modules, prototype innovative solutions (including generative AI initiatives), and help improve scalability, performance and user experience across the platform.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed NZ tertiary studies in CS/Data/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Experience with full-stack development using Node.js/TypeScript/React.
• Understanding of Agile workflows.
• Willingness to collaborate in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements, contribute to design discussions, and help build features.
• Assist in development and maintenance of clean, reusable codebase.
• Tackle technical challenges with team support and debugging.
