Job summary

Auror in Auckland is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer in Risk Detection to help build experiences that enable retailers to respond to crime in real time. You’ll work on Auror Subject Recognition (ASR) and our Risk Detection platform, combining frontend work with API and backend integration.

You’ll mainly use React and TypeScript to craft accessible, responsive customer experiences while growing your full-stack skills across APIs, services, and Azure-backed backend components.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend engineering mindset with React/TypeScript.
• Good understanding of full-stack development and APIs.
• Ability to work with Product and Design to solve customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve customer-facing experiences across Risk Detection, including ASR.
• Use React and TypeScript to create intuitive experiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to understand customer problems.
• Consider usability, performance, and reliability in builds.
• Participate in discovery and technical discussions early.
