Job summary

Avonside Girls' High School in Canterbury invites applications for a part-time languages teacher. You will confidently teach French to junior and mixed level senior classes, and Spanish to junior classes, creating inclusive learning environments where all students can succeed.

You must be a registered teacher with NZ registration or eligible, and contribute to Te Tiriti o Waitangi commitments while supporting the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

• Be a registered teacher (or eligible for registration in New Zealand).
• Be passionate about French and Spanish teaching.
• Confidently teach French to junior and mixed level senior classes.
• Teach Spanish to junior classes with inclusivity and care.
• Demonstrate culturally responsive practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
