Job summary

Messenger Services Limited is expanding its Kiwi Oversize team at the Syd Bradley Road distribution facility, Christchurch. The freight handler/loader role requires physical fitness, reliability and teamwork, with 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Immediate start may be available for the right candidate and a strong focus on Health & Safety is essential. Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; forklift experience is a further plus.

Qualifications

• Reasonable teamwork and reliability are important.

Responsibilities

• Join the freight sorting team at the distribution facility.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight, including heavy items.
• Maintain accurate handling and movement of goods.
• Be punctual, reliable and work well in a team environment.
• Comply with health and safety policies and pre-employment checks.
