Job summary

Stellar Recruitment Pty is seeking a Storeperson with Counter Balance for an immediate start in Christchurch, NZ. The role involves picking orders, stock counts, loading/unloading, and occasional customer interaction with tradespeople. You must hold a valid counter balance forklift licence and be able to lift up to 25kg.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with 8% holiday pay and weekly pay. Fortnightly training and ongoing development are available in a supportive warehouse team.

Qualifications

• Have experience in a warehousing environment.
• Ideally experience with trade/building materials.
• Have a valid counter balance forklift licence.
• Be able to lift up to 25kg.
• Have proven attention to detail.
• Have proven reliability and attendance.
• Be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Picking Orders and preparing them for Dispatch.
• Completing stock counts.
• Loading / unloading trucks.
• Operating the counterbalance when necessary.
• Some customer interaction with truck drivers and trades people.
• Adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Put aways of building materials.
