Job summary

Parceline Express in Hamilton is seeking a Forklift Operator to join a tight crew led by the Distribution Manager. You will unload/load vehicles, help with freight consolidation, and ensure on-time linehaul movements while adhering to safety standards.

The role is a full-time night shift (approximately 6:30 pm–3:30 am, Monday–Friday). A valid full NZ Class 1 licence and a current Forklift Licence are essential, along with reliability and physical fitness.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Forklift Operator, if you are looking for a fun challenge then this might be what you're looking for.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work with a tight crew, led by a Distribution Manager. Key responsibilities for this role to unload / load vehicles to ensure timely turnaround of road linehaul, and occasionally efficiently de-consolidate, sort, and consolidate freight into correct containers.

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Ability to follow instructions well and be a team player.
• Follow OSH standards and implement procedures where necessary.
• Promote and adhere to PARCELINE EXPRESS philosophy of safe, efficient on time arrivals and departures

This is a full-time 45 hour per week position with the workdays being Monday to Friday night shift, with the daily hours worked to be approximately 6:30 pm - 3:30 am.
