Job summary

Automotive Employment NZ Limited is seeking Ford-trained technicians to join leading NZ dealerships. You will service, diagnose and repair Ford passenger vehicles in a modern workshop with strong team support and ongoing Ford-specific training.

Applicants should have Ford Diagnostic or Master Technician training, a recognised automotive trade qualification, and proven experience in diagnostics and repair. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ford diagnostic or Master Technician training required.
• Recognised automotive trade qualification.
• Strong experience in passenger vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics.
• Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to undertake major mechanical work and mentor juniors.
• Good communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing Ford passenger vehicles.
• Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out major mechanical repairs to a high standard.
• Working on used and trade-in vehicles when required.
• Ensuring work meets franchise standards and quality expectations.
• Supporting and sharing knowledge with less experienced technicians.
