Job summary

LivSpace Flooring is growing and seeks a detail-focused Flooring Estimator to join our national team. You will prepare accurate flooring take-offs and quotations for residential and commercial projects across New Zealand, while supporting and developing our Manila-based estimating team as we scale the business.

You will work alongside the National Flooring Manager, handling take-offs, pricing, and site measures, and you will coordinate with customers, builders and sales teams to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Experience estimating flooring projects (residential/commercial).
• Ability to read and interpret building plans.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete flooring take-offs from plans and specs.
• Prepare quotations across carpet, vinyl, laminate, timber and tile.
• Conduct or coordinate site measures.
• Manage pricing, margins and supplier costs.
• Support customers, builders and sales teams with product advice.
• Assist with project handover to ordering and installation teams.
• Train and support offshore estimating team in Manila.

LivSpace Flooring is growing, and we're looking for a detail-focused Flooring Estimator to join our national team.

LivSpace is a national interiors supply and installation business delivering end-to-end solutions to the residential and construction sector. LivSpace is part of Carters Building Supplies - New Zealand's leading trade supplier with over 150 years of industry trust.

Working alongside our National Flooring Manager, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate flooring take-offs and quotations for residential and commercial projects across New Zealand. You'll also play a key role in supporting and developing our Manila-based estimating team as we continue to scale the business.

What You'll Do

• Complete flooring take-offs from plans and specifications
• Prepare accurate quotations across carpet, vinyl, laminate, timber and tile
• Conduct or coordinate site measures
• Manage pricing, margins and supplier costs
• Support customers, builders and sales teams with product advice
• Assist with project handover to ordering and installation teams
• Train and support our offshore estimating team in Manila

What You'll Bring

• Estimating experience within flooring, Knowledge of the RFMS Measure program
• Ability to read and interpret building plans
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Confidence using Excel and estimating software
• Flooring product knowledge is highly desirable
