Harvey Norman Stores (NZ) Pty in Manukau is seeking a Floor Manager to lead the Furniture department, boost sales, coach a team and ensure exceptional in-store experiences. You will drive performance through clear targets, monitor KPIs, and maintain presentation standards while supporting the Proprietor in daily operations.

Weekend availability is preferred. This hands-on leadership role offers strong earning potential with base hourly pay plus uncapped commission and a clear progression path

Qualifications

• Proven retail sales experience with strong results.
• Leadership or team coaching experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse performance and drive improvement.
• Flexibility to work weekends and extended retail hours.

Responsabilités

• Support the Proprietor in managing daily floor operations and achieving sales targets.
• Lead, coach and motivate Sales Consultants to maximise performance.
• Monitor sales results, reporting and team KPIs.
• Drive exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing and department presentation standards.
• Oversee stock levels and assist with stocktakes.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, health & safety, and legal requirements.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on sales performance, team management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Proprietor in managing daily floor operations and achieving sales targets
• Lead, coach and motivate Sales Consultants to maximise performance
• Monitor sales results, reporting and team KPIs
• Drive exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues
• Maintain merchandising, pricing and department presentation standards
• Oversee stock levels and assist with stocktakes
• Ensure compliance with company processes, health & safety, and legal requirements

You’re a motivated retail professional with leadership potential and a strong drive to achieve results.
