Busy Bees Westgate is seeking a Relief Teacher to join a warm, supportive team dedicated to meaningful learning experiences for kaiako and tamariki. Enjoy flexible days and hours, targeted development opportunities, and the chance to contribute to a caring centre.

As a reliever, you’ll experience varied spaces, receive ongoing support from the wider Busy Bees Aotearoa whanau, and help create a safe, engaging environment for children across rooms and ages.

Qualifications

• Be a registered or unregistered kaiako with a genuine heart for nurturing, caring for, and supporting our little ones.
• Possess a genuine heart for nurturing, caring for, and supporting our little ones.
• Stay adaptable, quick to pick up new routines, and happy to help where needed most.
• Stay anchored under pressure and enjoy being part of a professional, supportive culture.
• Applicants must hold NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

Responsibilities

• Help guide daily activities, engage in play-based learning, and offer relational support.
• Provide consistency and good energy as you slot into each new space.
• Work alongside professional teams that value the fresh perspective you provide.
• Support tamariki to feel safe, confident, and free to explore.
• Help keep the day steady and child-centred across the centre
