Job summary

Team Recruitment (Oxford) Limited is seeking a practical, organised Logistics Storeperson for our Christchurch client. The role is part-time, with a mix of admin from home and hands-on site work at Woolston.

Flexible start/finish times and a provided phone, laptop and PPE make it possible to manage tasks effectively. You will work solo day to day, handle administration, yard stock, loading/unloading, packing, QA checks and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in a warehouse, yard, stores or similar environment.
• Good attention to detail and confidence completing administration.
• Forklift licence; an F endorsement is not required.
• Clean, full driver’s licence.
• Confidence working independently and using initiative.
• Practical aptitude and willingness to learn the products.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
• Ability to manage physical work, including loading, unloading and product preparation.

Responsibilities

• Completing administration and keeping records accurate
• Keeping the yard tidy and stock organised
• Loading and unloading trucks and putting goods away
• Cleaning, preparing and packing products
• Checking incoming stock and completing quality assurance checklists
• Coordinating painted products, including packing and dispatch from the painter’s yard
• Helping with stocktakes and inventory checks
• Operating the forklift and other warehouse equipment safely
