Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the Morrinsville oral health team. The role involves working in fixed clinics and mobile units across the Southern team, primarily based in Morrinsville with flexibility to cover other sites in the Waikato.

You will assist with dental care for preschool and school-age children, support oral health therapists and dentists, and help with clinic administration.

Full-time Dental Assistant, Fixed Term contractHours 80 hours per fortnight, Monday Friday

About the Role

We are searching for a Dental Assistant to join the Morrinsville oral health team. The position involves working in fixed clinics and on mobile dental units within the Southern team (consists of Cambridge, Morrinsville, Matamata and Mobile unit covering rural areas). Your base will be predominantly Morrinsville however flexibility is required to cover in other areas should the need arise. You will provide assistance with dental care to pre-school and school age children. Trainings and service needs are sometimes required within Hamilton. Dental assistants support and assist oral health, dental therapists and community dentists in all aspects of care and clinic administration. This position is fulltime fixed term contract to cover Parental leave. We offer competitive salary rates.
