Experienced Finishing Carpenter

We’re looking for experienced finishing carpenters to join our team working across predominantly commercial sites in Hamilton. This role suits skilled professionals who take pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoy varied, hands-on finishing work.

Location: Hamilton, Hamilton
Start date: Early January
Pay rate: $32–36 per hour (paid weekly)

The role You’ll be involved in a range of finishing carpentry tasks on commercial projects, including:

• Installing and finishing interior and exterior trim, doors, cabinetry, and fittings
• Carrying out high-quality detailed joinery and finishing work
• Reading plans, measuring, cutting, and installing materials accurately
• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Coordinating with other trades to meet project timelines
• Ensuring all work meets building standards, quality expectations, and health & safety requirements

What we’re looking for

• Trade qualified carpenters preferred, or seasoned finishing carpenters with strong experience
• Proven finishing carpentry and joinery skills
• Ability to read and work from plans
• Own reliable vehicle
• Own set of tools suitable for finishing carpentry
