Job summary

Playcentre Aotearoa is seeking a Financial Accountant to commence 23 November 2026. This permanent full-time role is based at the National Office in Porirua, with a hybrid setup allowing occasional work from home by agreement.

Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee financial reporting, GST, and year-end processes. The role requires an accounting or commerce qualification and CAANZ membership or equivalent, with experience in financial systems and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in accounting or commerce.
• Membership of CAANZ or equivalent professional body is desirable.
• Experience with mid-to-large financial systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reporting to the Board.
• Lead year-end financial reporting and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare and file GST returns.
• Maintain data integrity within Dynamics Business Central.
