Job summary

KiwiQuest in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, is seeking a lead and coordinator for kiwifruit flower-picking teams across Te Puke and Tauranga for a seasonal role of about four weeks. You will ensure quality, safety, and accurate daily coordination, with responsibilities including training new staff, timesheet accuracy, and liaising with the office and mill.

The role runs up to six days a week, pays NZD 28.33 per hour plus 8% holiday pay, and training is provided in mid or late October.

Qualifications

• Kiwifruit or horticulture experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong time management and organisation.
• Communication skills to motivate a diverse team.
• Valid work permit or visa, NZ bank account and IRD number

Responsibilities

• Ensure flower-picking quality standards.
• Manage, motivate and support flower pickers.
