Job summary

preferable.ai is seeking an IT Dispatch Support professional to coordinate field engineers across multiple New Zealand sites. You will monitor tickets, schedule field visits, track SLAs, and maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams.

The role requires coordinating across diverse locations with strong organizational and reporting skills to ensure timely onsite support and incident resolution in a contract/dispatch setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT support, field services or dispatch coordination.
• Experience coordinating field engineers across multiple locations.
• Familiar with IT infrastructure and troubleshooting; ServiceNow or ITSM tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch field engineers based on ticket priority, location, and SLA.
• Manage engineer schedules, site visits, backfill coverage, and installations.
• Monitor tickets from assignment to closure with timely updates.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, vendors and L2/L3 teams for incident resolution.
• Ensure site documentation, KT and handover are completed.
• Track SLA, tickets, and site coverage; provide regular reports.
• Support multiple sites and urgent requests to maintain business continuity.
