Job summary

Vector is seeking a NOC Engineer to ensure optimal performance of the Fibre network across Auckland. You will respond to alarms and incidents, monitor performance, troubleshoot faults and support service activations to deliver reliable telecom services.

You will work with Sales, Service Delivery and Architecture teams to maintain availability and support a strong customer experience. This role offers hybrid working, structured onboarding, and opportunities for growth within Vector's networking

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) environment.
• CCNA or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of response for network alarms, incidents and customer issues.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot faults.
• Manage service activations and support reliable telecom services.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service Delivery and Architecture teams to maintain infrastructure availability.
• Participate in on-call roster with on-call allowance.
