Tradestaff New Zealand in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Joiner to manufacture and assemble high-quality joinery from plans. Immediate start with on-site installation where required, based in Central Queenstown.

You will measure, cut, and finish materials, operate workshop machinery and power tools, and ensure precise, quality outcomes on varied projects. Weekly pay and opportunities for long-term work await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Recognised joinery qualification and hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of joinery methods and techniques.
• Able to read plans, drawings and specifications.
• Experience with both workshop manufacturing and on-site installation.
• Excellent measuring skills and attention to accuracy.
• Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble custom joinery to plans and specifications.
• Measure, cut, machine, and prepare materials with precision.
• Operate workshop machinery, power tools, and specialist joinery equipment.
• Fit hardware, fixtures, and components to completed units.
• Complete finishing work to a high standard.
• Carry out on-site installation and fitting where required.
• Check completed work for accuracy, dimensions, and overall quality.
