Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking an Excel Expert for a remote contract to support AI training data. You will review and refine complex Excel workbooks, design templates, and share best practices for operational and consulting use cases.

The role requires strong Excel skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to document processes remotely. You will work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data validation, and automation.
• Experience developing Excel solutions for business operations, strategy, or consulting environments.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex, non-financial business problems using Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to document processes, create instructional materials, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Experience with data analysis, scenario modeling, and workflow optimization in Excel.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and enhance complex Excel files for business operations, strategy, and data analysis.
• Provide detailed feedback and examples of best practices in Excel for operational and consulting use cases.
• Design, document, and share templates or solutions that reflect expert knowledge for AI learning purposes.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to identify key workflows and operational challenges represented in Excel documents.
• Evaluate and simulate real-world business problems using advanced Excel features and formulas.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats, ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation.
• Contribute to the creation of data analysis case studies and operational scenarios leveraging Excel expertise.
