Job summary

Harmony Auto NZ is hiring an experienced Service Technician to join our dynamic team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

We offer EV-focused training, a modern workshop, and clear opportunities for career growth. You must hold a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent and be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified automotive mechanic with relevant certification.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with modern vehicle systems, EV experience welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out inspections, road tests, and fault finding.
• Complete service documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Keep up to date with EV's latest service procedures and technology (EV training provided).
• Collaborate with service advisors and workshop staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized and compliant workshop environment.
