Job summary

Green Bay High School in Auckland is seeking a certificated English teacher for a permanent full-time role in the Languages Department. The position welcomes experienced or beginning teachers who embody courage, mutual respect and a commitment to academic excellence to meet the diverse cultural and linguistic needs of learners.

Ideal candidates will have experience with ELLP and NZC, ESOL teaching background, and the ability to prepare ESL students for NCEA English assessments and for NZC

Qualifications

• Experience with ELLP and NZC is essential.
• Outline experience in ESOL teaching and English language acquisition.
• Experience preparing NCEA Unit Standards for ESL students.
• Preparing students for NCEA English assessments.
• Course design for the secondary NZC English Learning Area.
