We have a roll of around 1400 and with further building works underway, the roll is expected to increase in the next few years. We provide students with a caring and supportive environment, to help them achieve academic excellence, leadership skills and a love of learning.
We are seeking a skilled English teacher to fill a parental leave position in our team for 2027.
In this position you will be able to expertly guide our ākonga across all year levels as they gain expertise and confidence in reading, writing, and speaking. In doing so, you will also be committed to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and an enjoyment of literature and language. You will enjoy working closely with colleagues to deliver high quality English programmes which are engaging, challenging and responsive.
A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the understanding and ability to teach using culturally responsive and relational pedagogy is essential.
The successful applicant must be a NZ registered teacher and be willing to commit to our co-curricular programme also.
