Job summary

Recruitnet Consulting Group Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of engineered products — from early-stage concepts and prototypes through to production launch and ongoing improvement.

You'll work in a cross-functional engineering team to turn customer needs and technical requirements into practical, manufacturable and commercially sound mechanical designs, delivering robust, cost-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/design engineer with ability to balance technical detail with the commercial picture.
• Strong capability in mechanical design and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Experience turning concepts into feasible, manufacturable products.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies and production drawings.
• Apply DFM/DFA, tolerancing and material selection.
• Take concepts through feasibility, design reviews, prototyping and validation.
• Develop BOMs and coordinate with procurement and manufacturing.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, software and production teams.
• Design with cost, performance and manufacturability in mind.
• Support root-cause analysis and resolve production or field issues.
• Manage engineering documentation, design changes and validation records.
