Our area school is offering an exciting employment‑based teacher training opportunity in physical education, perfect for someone ready to step confidently into the classroom while gaining hands‑on experience from day one. Proven experience working with rangatahi will be advantageous.
As a trainee teacher, you’ll work alongside experienced educators who will mentor and support you as you develop your teaching practice. You’ll engage with students in secondary levels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and believes in the power of sport and physical activity to shape confident, resilient learners. The successful applicant will need to be enrolled with a training provider.
You’ll earn a salary while completing your Initial Teacher Education (ITE) qualification, allowing you to balance study with meaningful, practical work. Our school community is welcoming, supportive, and committed to helping you grow into an inspiring educator.
