Technical Recruitment Solutions in Wellington, NZ is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to work with a Tier 2 design & build contractor on commercial, residential and education projects.

You’ll be joining an established team with a strong presence across Wellington, working alongside Project Managers and site teams to manage the commercial aspects from early stages through to final account. You’ll have autonomy and opportunities to influence project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial construction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Commercially aware and organized in a live project environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing cost control, forecasting and monthly reporting.
• Letting and administering subcontractor packages.
• Assessing variations and managing claims.
• Supporting procurement and contributing to financial planning.
• Maintaining clear, professional communication with internal teams and suppliers.
