Job summary

Profile Group in New Zealand is seeking an Accountant who is soon to be qualified or recently fully qualified to advance their accounting career. You’ll work across group accounting and commercial tasks, with guidance from Finance leaders in a dynamic environment.

The role offers opportunities for professional advancement, mentorship programs, and a supportive setting while contributing to reconciliations, consolidations, GST, and budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• Partly or fully qualified CA with at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience with accounting for large, complex entities.
• IFRS or Audit background would be good but not essential.
• Self-motivated with exceptional time management.

Responsibilities

• Supporting online reconciliations, group consolidations/eliminations and high-level financial commentary.
• GST preparation, accounting for leases.
• Providing accurate and insightful analysis to aid company-wide decision making.
• Supporting the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.
• Understanding the information needs of the business and responding with appropriate reporting and analysis.
