Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Hutt Valley in Wellington seeks a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Emergency, to provide expert nursing guidance, deliver direct patient care and support other staff caring for patients with evolving complex conditions.

You will work in Hutt Hospital’s busy Emergency Department, with opportunities to advance skills through established CNS pathways and education, aligned with NZ standards and cultural safety.

Qualifications

• Emergency Nursing expertise with NZRC level 6 and Australasian Triage certificate.
• PDRP Expert/Senior level and commitment to maintain it.
• Working towards Clinical Postgraduate Diploma; Masters support provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing advice and direct patient care for emergency cases.
• Support other staff caring for patients with emerging complex conditions.
